Applying for an Early years (Nursery) or School place, for your child.
It’s advisable to contact Schools admissions, first to find out which local schools have spaces for your children. 0345 241 2487 or by email at admissions.schools@oxfordshire.gov.uk
You are very welcome to visit the school, before applying for a place. School admissions should be able to give you the contact details, for schools, which have spaces.

Adults
Free English conversation classes for Ukrainians who are in the first stages of learning English. – available Thursdays, 19.00 to 20.00 at Witney Methodist Church, the High Street, Witney. See more information about this, on our News page.
English tutors: We have a list (coming soon) of English tutors, offering free classes.

Medical help
If you need medical help:
Telephone 999 if you or somebody with you needs an ambulance, because of a serious medical emergency. This includes things like chest pains, breathing difficulties, choking and serious bleeding.
Windrush Community hospital, Welch Way, Witney has a Minor injuries unit.
You can telephone 111 for medical advice.
For some medical emergencies you may need to go to the Accident and Emergency department at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.

In a dental emergency (extreme pain, serious bleeding etc) telephone 111, who will advise you where to go.
