About us

 

Witney Ukraine Support is a group of individuals and organisations who want to support Ukrainian families arriving in Witney and the surrounding area and their hosts. We hope to create a support network that will help with building community and accessing services.

Asylum Welcome offers information, advice, and practical support to asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable migrants living in Oxfordshire.

Our vision as a church is to be a community that enables everyone to flourish so that we bring hope and blessing to our town and beyond.

 

Home-Start Oxford in Witney and West Oxfordshire is there for families with under 5s when they need us most. Through providing 1:1 support, and a programme of local groups, we support parents to help give children the best possible start in life by supporting parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children and widen their links with the local community.

 

The Rotary Club of Witney

A service club with 40 members offering support in a number of areas.

Oxfordshire Mind offer a 1:1 social prescribing service for those who are facing issues with their mental health and wellbeing in Oxfordshire GP practices. We have recently started working with GP practices based in Witney and Eynsham, but also work with many of the other practices in Oxfordshire, you can find the participating GP practices here: https://www.oxfordshiremind.org.uk/support-for-you/primary-care/

Anyone looking for support gets in touch either via their GP or by emailing us NWprimarycarewellbeing@oxfordshiremind.org.uk. We are able to hold these sessions using an interpreter if necessary.

 

There is also an Oxfordshire Mind hub on Moorland Road in Witney, the team there offer short courses on mental health/wellbeing, as well as peer support groups, you can contact the Infoline on 01865 247788 for more information.
